Living life as Art can transform your life as you recognise that one of God's gifts to us is the ability to both BE AMAZED by, and to ENJOY, his creation and the life He gives us.

We invite you to become a member of our movement and join with us in seeking to bring beauty into each day. It has been proposed by Werner May, Eric Johnson and Mike Sheldon in the summer of 2008, that we form this Movement which will celebrate,  promote and encourage its members to live life fully as a work of beauty and art to complement the two other essential components of the complete life which are Love (goodness, charity and loving kindness) and Truth.

Membership is open to all who agree to the Foundational Principles of the Movement:

1. Life in God’s world should seek out the path of Beauty, Love and Truth, in order to be lived to the full as God intended.
2. All of life can be a work of art. Each moment can be lived with beauty in mind, open for inspiration, improvisation, creativity and an opening of our horizons. The art of life can be practised whether doing household chores, attending meetings, praying on your own or relaxing in the garden. In fact it can cover ANY activity in which we participate.
3. The Art of Life also involves creating, maintaining and developing beautiful relationships.
4. Life is short and men and women are weak and lazy, but with God’s help it is possible to turn each task and each day into a thing of beauty and a joy for ever.

In order to apply for membership each person must document how they have undertaken a project which demonstrates that they have understood and have begun to practice the Art of Life. The project can be anything at all, but must demonstrate how the above Foundational Principles of our Movement have been practised in their life. Each person should undertake a project and then document it in writing, with photographs, or on video, so that it may be placed on this web site for all members to make comments. The art of communicating can also enhance our appreciation of the world and of each other.

Each member is also invited to submit as many projects as they wish to demonstrate that they are continuing to try to live a full and beautiful life (at least some of the time!). These will be placed on their web site pages to form a record of their progress.

There is no joining or annual fee, although the cost for many may be great. However the rewards are long lasting and will greatly benefit the member, his/her family, the community and the Kingdom of God. With the results avaliable for the whole world to see we hope to make a lot of little differences which may add up to something great.

We need to "Aggregate the marginal gains" which means paying attention to the many tiny details in life, each of which makes a marginal improvement, and which when added together wins Olympic gold medals.
